Using a fat orange chisel tip marker, I spent 6 seconds meticulously laying down some colour, then another 45 seconds painstakingly adding detail with a black brush pen. Within one minute my masterpiece was complete, and I was exhausted from the effort.
I used the "colour smoothing" mode on my scanner (which I've never tried before) and the result was one of those happy little accidents that I'm so fond of. It smoothed the colour out amazingly well, except for the spots where the marker really saturated the paper. I like the imperfect look of it.
