Marathon

11 hours into the marathon, Peter (exhausted and overheating) started to question his decision to be sponsored by a men's formal wear store.

Fantastic! Do you know Hoechlin´s work? He draws some terrific fat men too.

HAHAHA! I love the look on his face. Your descriptions are just plain awesome.
A sincere question: Do you always have what you are going to write under you sketch figured out while you're doing it?

Jason Curtis said...

Jazzlamb - Thanks so much. Generally I put absolutely no thought into what I'm drawing. I just sit down, put pen to paper, and I end up with something. After I look at the finished character is when I might think of a little description to add...but I never do that beforehand. Is this a backwards way of working?

Nah. It seems to be working pretty well for ya! So its all good! For me I guess I'm too stuck up thinking:)

hilarious. the tongue sticking out is a good addition too. maybe he needs sweat stains in his armpits?

Jason Curtis said...

Jazzlamb - Thanks man!

Krishna - His suit is wool, so it soaks up the sweat.

Krishna Chavda said...

ah yes, that would make sense.

Krishna - That's not something I often hear when it comes to my work.
