I'm not sure what his pet is, but there's one thing I know for sure...I would hate to scoop what that thing poops.

Oh aren't you Mr. Practical!
Think of the fun he'd be. You could saddle him and ride him to school. You could set him on the playground bullies (I'm sure he's much more ferocious than he looks) and spin yarn from his shed hair.
You're getting real good at this. I love the little scratchy lines you come up with randomly over the characters and background. Like, on the legs ...that little shade-- I really enjoy it. Please, apply for newspapers...you do this daily anyway, I'm sure your work would entertain millions out there. You need more exposure...you're too good to hide. Go, get out there-- apply!!
:)
I love that pet!!... I like the direction you've been heading lately, Jason. Your colors are getting more toned down and sophisticated-it really compliments your wonderful drawings.
I love this critter!! Is this what happens when a rabbit and elephant mate? If so, I want one.
I also agree that your colors lately are superb, the understated tones really make your line work pop.
That's awesome! That guy should have been in Avatar... in the same flat 2d style.
Nice colorful critter. Interesting how the boots are missing here. Also fun to note that such a huge fellow is held by a tiny leash.
Wow, seriously, thank you all so much for your kind words. I really do appreciate your encouragement more than I can express. Some days I feel as if my talent is so limited, then I read wonderful comments like the ones above and it fills me with such enthusiasm and sense of potential.
Thank you.
haha! love this one. it reminds me so much of my son and his dog who are inseparable but that dog's got shifty eyes for me. also, love these color choices.
Don't doubt yourself! I agree with everything mentioned above, but I'd also like to add your sense of composition is really great! You do such a wonderful job of composing your characters. I am a big fan of this pet, but I agree, I wouldn't want to scoop anything he poops.
Awesome!
I think this critter don't salivate much although that tongue is a about a full-body length, or 1.17 times the owner's height.
If it does, I would need a coat to stand in front of it!
i wonder if you feed him ziplock bags, he could poop them out with his contents contained within them?
Thanks all! Wonderful comments.
looks like his pet might swallow him- and yeah I agree- cleaning after his messes would be like shoveling snow... just much more unpleasant... especially if he eats prunes.
