Same as yesterday, I just dove in with the brush pen and doodled away. Here's the result.
This guy doesn't really have an ear-to-ear grin...it's more of a forehead-to-chin grin.

Uau! This is great! Very interesting character, very interesting line!
Nice to see you having fun with new techniques... thanks for ur comments!
wow! that's some smile! terrific, jason-you look like an old pro with that pen already!
Your characters get a lot more character with the brush pen. And I do agree with Michael, you're using it like you were born with it!
Thanks everyone. I feel that I'm still pretty shaky with the brush pen, and I'm certainly not as confident as I am with a pen...but that's half the fun because it leads to some interesting line work.
Ha ha nice!
jeez! you're blog is always so much fun! i kind of like the fact that i don't get around every day because i love coming into a few of your wonderful characters each time. great, great work, jason.
Wow, you're really getting the hang of this! The brush pen is giving a new life to your work. I like this guy a lot. I can't wait to see how things get once you become more comfortable with it!
I have a bigger smile than your character seeing it, he, he.
Now I wonder...what does he see in the distance that causes him to smile like that?! New pair of speedos? A vespa?
I think you're getting better every time you pick up the brush pen ^_^!
Keep it up :D!
The biggest smile you can get too! Love the idea of forehead to chin grin! :D Great work as usual Jason!
That smile is infectious :)

i think i knew someone who looked like this in India.
