The kid with a metal nose

This is Elroy Junior. As you can see, he has a metal nose.

Elroy had a compulsive habit of enthusiastically picking his nose, so much so that one day his nose actually fell off (and was promptly scooped up and swallowed by the family dog, Dexter). Elory's father, Elroy Senior, went into the garage and built his son a replacement nose from scrap pieces of metal.

...and that my friends, is how Elroy became the kid with a metal nose.

It´s true that Elroy Senior bought him a metal glove to continue picking his new nose with all the pleasure?

The lack of expression on the kids face is plain pricelessness:)

Great story! Now Elroy really has a strong nose! And he should have no worry to pick up boxing as a sport. :)

Tomas - That's a great idea...I'll let Elroy Senior know.

Chelsea - Thanks!

Voz - I hope that if this ever happens to my son, I'll be able to do what Elroy Senior did.

Justdoodleit - I'm sure if he got into a school yard fight his nose wouldn't bleed at all...but the fist of the bully surely would!

Jazzlamb - He does look a little spaced-out doesn't he?

Gavin Goo - If he does take up boxing, maybe Elroy Senior could make him an iron fist to go along with his metal nose...or would that be cheating?

Michael - Thanks!

i think you should write/illustrate a children's book about what happens when you do things. like picking your nose. this is hilarious.

Krishna - I would absolutely love to write and illustrate a children's book.

...not really sure where to start though.

Thanks so much for your comment.
