Okay, a loyal Happy Fun Hour viewer has recently shown some interest in what I look like. So, for anyone that was curious, here I am!
In your minds eye, did you imagine me looking different, or is this what you had imagined?

Haha, sweet! A personal post, all for me...well, and the rest of your loyal fans. Finally put a face to a ...blog. I guess you're not too far off of what I had expected if I really thought about it... kidding about the Jerry Seinfeld..lol. Im glad youre exposed now.. muhaha! Awesome picture though, textures and all that mountainy background! Nice to finally 'meet/see' you. Keep up the great doodles, theyre going to be published one day...! I know it!
Woohoo! How cool is this! Nice picture!
Well actually I never really thought about how you looked...NOT that I thought you looked like one of your doodles...please don't think that! Okay. based on your picture, I would think you have dark brown hair..am I right ^_^?
Oh I did think that your love for speedos and staches came from personal experience ;D...but I think I wrong there hehe.
Thanks for revealing yourself!
Ciao!
But... where are your boots?
I'm sure those pants were worn only to pose for this photo;)
Nice photo JC and very neat backdrop too.
Two posts in one day? C'mon now! You don't really look how I imagined, but as Abz said, it's great to put a face to your blog. Not to mention the fact that this picture is totally AWESOME! You're a cool guy though. Cool and creative. Great combo.
Abz - It is nice to be able to put a face to a blog. Of course, now there's no mystery left. Ha!
TJ - I do have dark brown hair. I don't, however, have a moustache, nor do I wear a speedo. I prefer to embarrass my characters, rather than myself.
Tomas - Seeing as my feet are out of frame in this shot, how do you know that I'm not wearing a tiny pair of cowboy boots?
(for the record, I'm not)
Justdoodleit - I was waiting for someone to mention the fact that I'm wearing pants (and the vast majority of my characters do not).
Chelsea - I'm cool? For years and years my Mom has told me that I'm a cool guy...but it's just nice to hear it from someone else. Hehee.
I'm not convinced, Jason-most of my artist friends resemble their drawings. are you sure this isn't just some picture that came with a frame you purchased?
...by the way, as I'm writing this, I'm wearing a speedo, and damn proud of it.
Michael - Hahaa! I'm very pleased to say that I look nothing like my drawings. I don't have stubby little arms and legs, I don't have big ugly teeth, I don't go out in public without pants (or wearing just my tighty whities), I don't own a pair of tiny boots, and I most certainly don't wear speedo's.
As for you...I'm glad to hear you're proud of your speedo. I guess you're more of a man then I am.
Heyyyy. I thought of asking you too:) Funny how I imagined you to be this balding, frustrated, short, cute, middle aged thing. You're hot and you should put up more scantily clad pictures of yourself for women to swoon:D
Jazzlamb - I'm so glad that I posted my picture...the idea that you thought I was a short, balding, frustrated middle aged man makes me shiver.
Hi Jason, you sure you didn't use the Free Transform Tool in Photoshop for this???
What a vast contrast from your illustrations!!!
:D
Gavin - No Photoshop trickery. I'm finding it very amusing that people assumed I would resemble my cartoon characters.
Great shot! Where was this taken?
Robert - Thanks. It was taken in Alberta, Canada.
Alberta! Good place! I won many Risk games with it!
Tomas - Alberta...great place!
my younger sister lives in Edmonton!
Michael - Very cool. I don't live in Alberta, I dwell on the other side of the country, in Ontario (where there are unfortunately no mountains).
Not at all.
In fact, I'm sure this is an impostor. The real Jason doesn't wear pants.
I refuse to believe it's you until you show me your square teeth and pointy little boots.
My, my, this has turned out to be quite the popular comment update, eh? You dont look like your characters, dont you worry...but its true that most artists capture themselves in their work...i do it all the time...unintentionally ofcourse...but when people point it out, I kinda see it.
"then i saw [his] face, now im a believer"
hehe. finally! a face. your blue man thumbnail is not longer what i'll keep filed away next to your name in my brain.
(though i never really thought of blueman resembling you, it was just a placeholder)
Abz - I agree that most artists pour a bit of themselves into all of their creations, whether they do it intentionally or not. Although I'm almost 37 years old, I'm still a big kid, so I guess the goofy nature of my characters represents my inner child.
Krishna - Glad you're a believer!
That's funny, I always pictured you with a moustache.
Honkbarn - Oh my, that's embarrassing!
