Monsters have to eat too!

Scanned from my Moleskin sketchbook...

...and coloured...

My wife walked past me as I was doodling this in my sketchbook. She said "Oh, he's so cute" referring to the monster. I then began explaining the piece, telling her that this monster lured children with his puppet, and when one got close enough he would snatch him up, drag him into his lair, and gobble him up. When I looked up from my sketchbook after having explained this, the look on my wife's face was that of sheer horror.

Her response was "That's horrible!"

The way I figure it though, monsters have to eat too.

Ha, Ha! Poor monster, the only thing he do is just eating! I love your creativity!

love it. love that one arm evolved into a long long one and the other one stayed fin-like.

Bob - I'm hanging my head in shame.

Justdoodleit - You're right.

Roger - Thanks so much.

Krishna - He can actually stretch either of his arms, but not both at the same time.

I'd be monster food in seconds. That *is* a cute little fella.

I love that he has a little stool to sit on. A hungry monster with a numb butt would be a very bad thing.

Voz - Yeah, I'd surely be gobbled up myself...I'm a sucker for cute fuzzy things. Thanks for your comments, as usual.

Not that a puppet coming out of a hole in the ground would be suspicious. Cool cross hatching going on in this one Jason and I love how the hole sort of looks like a cross section of human stomach. Hehehe. I feel like this guy lives in my belly for the holidays.
