This is an itsy-bitsy doodle that I did in the bottom corner of my sketchbook. I instantly felt for this little guy because he looks like he could use a friend...and maybe a shirt. I always find it interesting how a few scribbles of a pen on paper can create something that is capable of triggering an emotion. This guy pulled on my heartstrings.
Anyway, I thought he pretty much summed up how many people feel on Monday mornings.
...I hope you're all feeling cheerier than this poor bastard though.

Aww poor guy. I'd suggest you give him a nice, colorful Hawaiian shirt, but he probably wouldn't appreciate the irony.

I was in a pretty good mood until I saw this guy and now I think I'll go out and kick the cat.
I do like him being all sad and grey. Did he lose his teddy? Or maybe he wanted to wear a speedo instead of pants!
Voz - If I gave him an ice cream cone, he'd probably accidently drop the ice cream onto the sidewalk, which would make him even more depressed.

TJ - Ahhh, I think you hit the nail on the head...what he needs to do is get out of those pants and into a speedo!
